Thom Tuck
Thom Tuck (born 28 March 1982) is a British actor〔(PBJ Management )〕〔(imdb )〕 and comedian known for being one third of comedy troupe The Penny Dreadfuls and as a Stand-up comedian nominated for the Best Newcomer award at the 2011 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.〔(List of Best Newcomer Nominees )〕 ==Early life== Tuck attended the American International School of Dhaka in Bangladesh and Cardinal Heenan Roman Catholic High School and Notre Dame Sixth Form College in Leeds. As a child, he also lived in Sri Lanka, Denmark, Egypt, Malawi, Zimbabwe and The Philippines. He studied philosophy at the University of Edinburgh and graduated with a 2:2.〔(Interview with Thom Tuck )〕 While at university, he performed with the Edinburgh University Theatre Company; acting in, writing and directing plays, including directing a piece written by playwright Sam Holcroft,〔http://www.eutc.org.uk/shows/p445〕 and was a member of acclaimed〔http://www.comedy.co.uk/fringe/2010/the_improverts/〕 improvisational comedy troupe ''The Improverts''.〔http://www.eutc.org.uk/people/431〕 It was with The Improverts that he first met and performed with fellow comedians Humphrey Ker and David Reed.
